Who’s to say a 1969 Jaguar has no place in the living room? Inspired by the unconventional warehouse living depicted in the 1981 French thriller DIVA, our client sought a durable and flexible live/workspace, that challenged the traditional boundaries that often separate where we live and where we work. As a photographer, software designer and mechanic, the final plan suits the particulars of each of those pursuits. With thoughtful use of off-the-shelf building components, we worked closely with our client to create a non-precious, with an industrial aesthetic he loves as much as its zero-maintenance exterior.
