A classic 1958, architect designed house was bursting at the seams for this family of 5. The client initially considered moving to a new house, but the neighborhood and proximity to the kid’s schools kept calling them back home for a remodel. The spirit of the mid-century house remains and the cost of remodeling the kitchen, adding a bedroom and bathroom, home office and guest room also made economic sense.
